The final performance by the 2026 Artist-in-Residence, Teis Semey, features his quintet. Staying true to their signature acoustic punk sound, the Teis Semey Quintet draws audiences into a wild, energetic, and vibrant musical experience, driven by a distinctive and highly original artistic vision. With the dual saxophone lineup amplifying the momentum of the rhythm section, the group has been described as “an otherworldly meteor shower,” moving as one through unspoken cues and pure energy.
