Giovanni Maier: double bass;
Andrea Melani: drums;
The violinist Emanuele Parrini is a musician in full rise, considered among the greatest representatives of his instrument on the modern jazz scene, and, as evidence of this, he has been awarded as the best Italian violinist for countless years. He can boast a knowledge and a passion for the history of the violin both in the jazz and in the creative field, as well as a technical preparation which allows him to cross different trends and approaches. The style, which collects autumnal, lyrical and exploratory nuances, is characterized by sparkling and high-impact compositions, interspersed with solo moments. All this is poured into his quartet, where musical expressiveness and instrumental sounds are experienced as elements of a harmonic dialogue.
