The Exodus leader in the south Londoner Moses Boyd, a musician who is leading the resurgence of British jazz with his subtle but prodigious ability to play the drums and his production work.

At just 27 years old Boyd is already the winner of numerous awards including the "Parliamentary Jazz Award" as the best emerging jazz musician of 2016.

"I see jazz as a way of approaching things creatively," says the young drummer.

Considered one of the most promising talents of his generation, he is one of the rising stars in the dynamic London jazz scene. His idols are drummers like Philly Joe Jones, Roy Haynes, Ed Blackwell and Tony Allen.
