The Jazz & Taste program as part of Jazz & Wine Italia will frame the Jazz & Wine, which includes the combination of music and tastings, with songs specially chosen by the musicians. A complete tasting, from the palate to the ear, in which the sounds express the particular and changing character of the wine and its characteristics.
The two musicians met in Milan in 2018 and since then they have collaborated assiduously together in various projects, from duo to larger ensembles. This time they chose a typically jazz repertoire proposing some classics of the American songbook with particular regard to the bassist and composer Oscar Pettiford. The result is an aspiration to a marked interplay, so that the traditional “roles” of the instruments jump, the references are lost and every musician finds himself listening and following, provoking and hiding, in an effort of interchange through which everyone influences the ‘other.
