Seun Kuti is the son of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, Fela Kuti, "The Black President", legendary Nigerian musician and activist, pioneer of revolutionary afrobeat.
With him, the historical formation of Egypt 80 - "the most infernal rhythmic machine of tropical Africa" ​​-, a name that Fela gave to Africa 70 in 1977, referring to the ancient Egyptian civilization. Like his father, Seun struggles with music for the affirmation of his own people.

In Sacile he will present his new album 'Black Times', nominated for the Grammy Awards for best album world and defined by the international press as the most representative of his career: the one able to best express the power of his music.

In an age in which afrobeat is increasingly rediscovered and cited in many modern musical environments, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 represent the authentic original root but reinvigorated by the young energy and by a remarkable openness to collaborations and artistic contaminations.
