Ca ’Ronesca, founded in 1972 in the village of Lonzano, known for being the birthplace of Pietro Zorutti, is a winery that welcomes tourists and wine enthusiasts. The 55 hectares of vineyards extend between the Collio Doc and the Colli Orientali del Friuli Doc, and is framed by chestnut trees, holm oaks, downy oaks, acacias and junipers that maintain a rich and vital ecosystem. Ponca is the name of the soil in which the vines sink their roots; a characteristic sedimentary rock, friable, gray and ochre, layered in thin strips that makes its fruits unique. Clearly an excellent grape is the indispensable premise for obtaining a great wine, but many other ingredients are needed; tradition, knowledge, technique and passion. With its gentle slopes, Ca ’Ronesca is the ideal place to enjoy the peace of a landscape that will  take your breath away.
