The duo consisting of Tunisian singer and oud player Sarra Douik and Venetian double bass player Marco Centasso combines different musical experiences and international influences. Douik harmoniously integrates Tunisian tradition with other sound worlds and has been featured in projects such as OneBeat and Medinea, as well as at festivals such as the Amman Jazz Festival. Centasso, an eclectic double bass player active in jazz and contemporary music, has collaborated with important artists and played at festivals such as Umbria Jazz, Nantes Jazz Festival and JAZZMI. Together, they create a fascinating fusion of Mediterranean sounds and contemporary jazz.
