A creative who rejects all boundaries: an artist, composer, producer and influencer, nominated to the GRAMMY\u00ae\ufe0f Award and who projects his voice through the music.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After seven years in Shanghai, Croker is back with an original and seething sound on the album &#8220;<em>Afro Physicist<\/em>&#8221; in 2014, made with Dee Dee Bridgewater. After the success of &#8220;<em>Escape Velocity<\/em>&#8221; in 2016, he rose to a new atmosphere with &#8220;<em>Star People Nation<\/em>&#8221; in 2019, obtaining a nomination in the &#8220;<em>Best Contemporary Instrumental <\/em>Album\u201d category at the 62\u00b0 GRAMMY\u00ae\ufe0f Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Croker has attracted wide acclaim by the critics, including the New York Times which has defined it as \u201c<em>an album <\/em><em>that gallops from swirling hip-hop rhythms to propellant swing to enchanting passages of African percussion. In all of this, Croker&#8217;s composed trumpet leads his band with bravado and composure<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In 2020, due to the pandemic, he takes refuge in his childhood home in Leesburg, Florida. Here, he lets himself go to a powerful flow of inspiration which takes him on an introspective journey that culminates in the vision and creation of his sixth and latest album \u201c<em>BLK2LIFE || A FUTURE PAST<\/em>\u201d, which was born, first of all, from an old and dying Fender Rhodes piano, the trumpet and his magical talent.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Theo Croker: trumpet, voice, laptop, effects;
