 Il bandleader e collaboratore storico di Sun Ra, Marshall Allen,<\/strong> classe 1924, virtuoso del sax alto, \u00e8 il continuatore del peculiare stile cosmico-free-religioso, con citazioni e simbolismi dalla storia delle culture nere, dell\u2019Arkestra.<\/div>\n

Resta intatto l’impatto sonoro del suo fondatore Sun Ra (il suo vero nome era Herman Poole Blaunt) che per molti anni utilizz\u00f2 il suo ensemble come espressione musicale del suo pi\u00f9 vasto pensiero che denomin\u00f2 afrofuturismo, unendo elementi delle culture nere di tutto il mondo, una visione panteistica dell’universo e un messaggio di umanesimo.<\/p>\n

Dalla sua scomparsa, l’amico e collega Allen ha preso le redini della band.<\/p>\n
