Marialy Pacheco<\/strong> e Joo Kraus<\/strong>, un incontro musicale con esplosione e implosione allo stesso tempo: introverso – giocoso, espressivo – brillante. Una combinazione unica risultato della miscela fra musica tradizionale cubana, ritmi afro-cubani, jazz contemporaneo e sonorit\u00e0 dei migliori club d\u2019Europa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Lei \u00e8 nata a Cuba nel 1983, suona il pianoforte, \u201cama il blues, Monk ed Ellington, \u00e8 swing come il diavolo!\u201d scrivono i critici jazz. C\u2019\u00e8 Cuba e ci sono i Caraibi, ma il suo stile percussivo richiama subito alla mente Keith Jarrett e le linee melodiose di Oscar Peterson. Prima donna a vincere il prestigioso Montreaux Jazz Piano Competition e prima pianista jazz al mondo a essere nominata “B\u00f6sendorfer Artist”, \u00e8 l\u2019unica donna nell\u2019attuale fila dei famosi pianisti jazz cubani come Roberto Fonseca, Omar Sosa o Gonzalo Rubalcaba. Ha conosciuto il trombettista Joo Kraus per caso. Lui viene dal funk jazz e musica da club. A 19 anni ha vinto il primo premio alla German National Competition “Jugend Musiziert” e nei primi anni Novanta ha fondato il duo hip-hop “Tab Two” con il bassista Helmuth Hattler. Ha prodotto, fra gli altri, un album a L\u2019Avana, “Sue\u00f1o”, e arrangiato brani di Michael Jackson in chiave jazz,  sofisticato omaggio al re del pop. Premo Echo Jazz come miglior trombettista nel 2013 e German Jazz Award (sesta volta) per l\u2019album in solo \u201cPublic Jazz Lounge\u201d.<\/p>\n
