Quello tra Daniele Sepe e Gato Barbieri \u00e8 un rapporto di vecchia data. Fonte di ispirazione costante, la musica del grande sassofonista argentino si ritrova in molti lavori del napoletano, in un brano, un fraseggio, una nota, quella singola nota che fuori da ogni tecnicismo accademico determina la sigla, la cifra stilistica di un autore, la sua immediata riconoscibilit\u00e0. In cerca di quella straordinaria riconoscibilit\u00e0 posseduta da Gato, Sepe si cimenta in un omaggio che evita con modestia il classico album di cover tributo, prodotto che spesso infoltisce il mercato musicale aggiungendo poco o nulla alla memoria dei musicisti celebrati, per non dire dei celebranti. Ma a ben vedere il progetto di Sepe \u00e8 ben pi\u00f9 ambizioso: immaginare un repertorio diversificato per generi e provenienza come se a comporlo o interpretarlo fosse stato Barbieri in persona. Profondo conoscitore della storia della musica, Sepe ha sempre contestato il concetto di originalit\u00e0 generalmente intesa, indagando, con piglio filologico, l\u2019origine di forme e motivi, i nessi e le reciproche influenze tra culture musicali anche apparentemente distanti. Per dirla con Roberto Longhi un\u2019opera d\u2019arte \u2018non sta mai da sola, \u00e8 sempre un rapporto. Per cominciare: almeno un rapporto con un\u2019altra opera d\u2019arte. Un\u2019opera sola al mondo non sarebbe neppure intesa come produzione umana\u2018. Un principio che vale, naturalmente, anche per la musica. Proprio per questo, la lezione pi\u00f9 grande che Sepe apprende da Barbieri consiste nel superare gli steccati tra i generi, reinterpretando le proprie radici con la massima libert\u00e0.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
